Today wasn't quite a good as last time,
But I still quite like them.

I've had a few people asking how to do marble nails.
So stay tuned for a tutorial!

So apparently everyone is hitting up
 the Peplum trend.

The free dictionary says:

pep·lum  (pplm)
n. pl. pep·lums
1. A short overskirt or ruffle attached at the waistline of a jacket, blouse, or dress.
2. See peplos.

[Latin, robe of state, from Greek peplon, neuter of peplos, peplos.]

while Peplos is:
pep·los  (ppls, -ls) also pep·lus (-ls)
n. pl. pep·los·es also pep·lus·es
A loose outer robe worn by women in ancient Greece. Also called peplum.

[Greek.]

I thought this was rather interesting.

Well being the shop-a-holic I am, I had to get my hands on a Peplum top and try the style out for myself.
and I think it actually really suits me.
It comes it very nicely at the waist (my smallest part) and flares over my stomach (my largest part)

Definitely an investment for any hourglass woman!

this one is from Glassons

As you all may know I start my new placement/intern-ship/work experience on Monday,
and I'm still in deciding what to wear mode.

Yesterday I went shopping with some friends (again)
I went to show them a dress I love at Portmans and that is when I saw the
further 30% off sign
I went in, tried on the dress again, and still loved it.

So I bought it.

This is the dress, super cute peplum-ish waist, and super comfy jersey knit type fabric.
Thinking about wearing it to work on Monday...
thoughts?

Shoes are Hush Puppies
Guess Watch
Today I am going Ice Skating with MyLove and his sisters.

I decided to do an Icy manicure in tribute to this - however, I have no pale blue.
so being a quick thinking person I decided to whip one up!

I mixed Mabeline Marshmallow (silvery)
Australis Sky's the Limit
and
Revlon Colada Fizz
but this colour ended up being far too sheer
so I added
Sally Hansen Naturel White
and more Australis Sky's the limit
and created this beautiful number.
I name her Cinderella

I didn't want a super plain manicure so decide to spice it up a little with some dots.
(this picture is without topcoat)
Pale Blue: My Franken Cinderella
Dark Blue: Australis Sky's the limit
White (dots): Sally Hansen Naturel White

Finally to finish the look off I added a sparkly top coat in the form of Revlon Colada Fizz

So I'm not superstitious or anything,
but I decided since today is Friday 13th (Black Friday) I may as well embrace it!

I'm not sure if you can see, but this is a spotty manicure

Base Coat: OPI Nail Envy (2 coats because I like to have a thick base when I use dark colours)
Black: Australis Blackmail (2 coats)

Matte/Matte dots: Elf Matte top coat
Shiny/Shiny dots: Sally Hansen Mega Shine top coat
